TikTok Shop Mexico to go live on February 13th

TikTok has announced that it will officially open trading in Mexico on February 13, 2025, and has invited local sellers to register to open stores in advance in January. Eligible merchants can enjoy the first 90 days of commission-free incentives to further incentivize local sellers to move in. Mexico is also the first country in Latin America to launch a TikTok Shop. However, the expansion of TikTok Shop in Mexico will be subject to certain restrictions, and some product categories such as jewelry, health products, pregnancy and baby products will be controlled on the platform.
